Uncle John would have liked breakfast. Pancakes, toast, Jam and omelette – an Indonesian oddity.
No ride today. We played tourist and visited a local attraction – the waterfalls. It was quite a climb through the rainforest however well worth it. You must see the photos. Deliciously cold and then lots of laughter and enjoyment by all. Perfect for cyclists. A “picnic” lunch at the bottom, followed by a short outrigger refugee boat return ride to the bungalows. Phil tried his hand at riding a local bike at the beach. It was weird to think that the beach was fresh water, complete with lapping waves. Crystal clear and perfect for swimming, not a shark in sight.
